“Naruto struggled to find his place in his village, and everyone avoided him due to a secret he carries.” He is a knucklehead ninja who is unpredictable. But he aspires to be Hokage, the most important person in the village, and to be recognised by all.”

If you’re looking for anime similar to Naruto that features adventures, intense battles, friendly rivalry, and a lot of fun, then this list is for you.

Best Anime like Naruto!

12. Haikyuu!

Haikyuu!

Haikyu!! tells the story of the entire team, their individual struggles, their disagreements, and their desire to outperform but not leave each other behind

Their voice actors did an excellent job; there were no skippable openings, and what amazes me is that even opponents and side characters have backstories. It has everything a story needs: comedy, sad moments, struggles, defeat, success, progress, teamwork, and everything else.

Both protagonists want to be the best at something but are limited by circumstances. They both have stupid personalities (which we call baka). Both have a supporting character who assists the MC in pushing his boundaries.

11. Bleach

Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student, meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who is injured while protecting Ichigo’s family from an assailant.

Ichigo accepts Rukia’s offer to take her powers in order to save his family, and as a result, he becomes a Soul Reaper.

Naruto and Bleach are both action anime franchises. They are both epic anime with excellent character development and plots. They have a little romance and a lot of serious parts. And they’re suitable for anyone.

10. Rurouni Kenshin

 Rurouni Kenshin

The mere mention of Battousai still sends shivers down the spines of war veterans. Battousai, unbeknownst to them, has abandoned his bloodstained lifestyle in order to atone for his sins.

Kenshin Himura is now a wandering swordsman with a positive attitude and a strong will.

Kenshin vows never to kill again and devotes himself to protecting the weak. Both Naruto and Battousai are warriors. They are both defying the odds.

These two guys turn the impossible into the possible by using Talk-no-Jutsu to change their opponents’ hearts, much like Christian missionaries do.

9. One Piece

One Piece

The death of the Pirate King ushered in the Great Pirate Era, and 20 years later, an unusual pirate named Monkey D. Luffy arrives. His goal is not to pillage and murder people.

He aspires to become the Pirate King by discovering One Piece, the great treasure left behind by the pirate king himself. He enjoys adventure and making new friends along the way.

Both MCs are idiots with similar ambitions to become kings. They refuse to give up, regardless of their circumstances. Both animes revolve around friendship and rivalry.

One thing’s for sure; you’ll fall in love with this series. Some people think it’s too long, and it is, but it’s not actually that long once you know the story. This series should never end.

8. Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter

Set in a world where Hunters perform tasks such as capturing criminals and searching for lost treasures. Gon Freecss is determined to become the best Hunter he can in order to track down his father, who abandoned his young son.

However, Gon quickly realises that the path to his goals is far more difficult than he could have imagined.

The first parallel is that they are both shounen with a strong main character and have over 100 episodes. And they occur in vast, complex worlds.

They must overcome numerous villains and obstacles. They are from small villages with issues of family abandonment and powerful teachers.

7. Fairy Tail

 Fairy Tail

Natsu Dragneel, a dragon slayer who works alongside his friend Happy, is looking for his foster father. He is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild.

Natsu will go to any length for his friends, and his ultimate goal is to complete a 100-year quest, the most difficult level of difficulty a wizard can achieve.

Both series are about friendship and follow the same “never give up” motto. The main character is a member of a guild squad with many people who are very different from one another.

Both shows are about “I will do anything to protect my friends” and “everyone understands each other.” Friendship, rivalry, fights, and life-or-death battles are all part of the story.

6. Full Metal Alchemist

Full Metal Alchemist

When a failed alchemical ritual leaves brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric with severely damaged bodies, they begin their search for the fabled philosopher’s stone.

Both anime protagonists have exceptional abilities and powers, as well as excellent fighting/action scenes, comedy, and tragedy.

Both anime’s characters have a goal that they are striving for with a never-say-die attitude. It is unquestionably an amazing anime, similar to Naruto.

5. Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu kaisen is a modern anime. It’s the story of a teen who joined his school’s occult club for fun. He discovers a cursed object that alters his life.

He finds himself fighting curses and hosting the most powerful and king of curses, ‘Sukuna.’ His goal is to protect his friends until the king of curses can be executed. He also wants to know the best way to die.

Both are Action Shonen stories about a young orphan with a Demon inside of them.

4. My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is the story of Deku, who has no quirks in a world full of superheroes. When he met All Might, the world’s strongest hero, his life was forever changed.

He became his student and began to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a superhero. He begins as the world’s strongest superhero’s heir.

Both anime depict the story of a boy who aspires to be the strongest and most powerful. Both are battle shonen who care about their friends.

3. Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer

Tanjirou returns home one day to discover that his entire family has been slaughtered, with the exception of his little sister Nezuko, who has also been transformed into a demon.

Tanjirou swears to exterminate all demons and heal his sister. He begins his journey and trains diligently to become a demon slayer. Tanjirou is a good boy despite his desire for vengeance for his family’s murder.

He is so kind that he even has mercy on demons. Both are battle shounen with similar fast pacing, so if you enjoy one of them for that reason, you’ll enjoy the other as well.

2. Soul Eater

Soul Eater

Evans wishes to become Death Scythe, and in order to do so, he must consume the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch.

Set in a fantasy world of Soul Eaters attempting to create a Death Scythe to defend the world from evil forces.

If you enjoyed Naruto, you should also watch Soul Eater because the characters are similar. They have a goal that they want to accomplish.

They want to be on top of the world. Both series feature a trio of characters. And, most importantly, the MC in both series is universally adored.

1. Black Clover

 Black Clover

Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church and have since become inseparable. They promised as children that they would compete to see who would become the next Emperor Magus.

While Yuno can wield magic with incredible power and control, Asta is unable to use magic at all and desperately tries to awaken his powers through physical training.

Both are Action Shonen, and they were created by the same studio. Both are about a young boy who wears a headband, and both MCs are Orphans who have a Demon inside them.

Both main characters aspire to be kings in their respective worlds. So you should watch an anime like Naruto.

Conclusive Thoughts!

So these were some of the anime that were most similar to Naruto. If you want to watch anime similar to Naruto, these are must-watches in terms of storyline, villains, powers, and so on.

You should watch any of these if you haven’t already. Also, if you have any questions about the article, please leave them in the comments section below.
