The main character, like Anos, is highly skilled and exudes cool vibes! They are both confident in their abilities and will fight anyone who gets in their way! When it comes to fighting, they’re both badass.
The anime, on the other hand, is set in the dawn of the twenty-first century, and magic is now a part of technology and science. The main character and his sister enrol as first-year students and are tested to determine their status.
One of the parallels is that they are both perceived as weak by those around them. Tastuya has a low magic rating, while Anos is judged because he is not a royal. They are, however, both insanely overpowered in combat, and anyone who dares to challenge them while believing they have the upper hand is a fool who deserves to be beaten!
9. Trinity Seven
Another overpowered protagonist in a school academy! Trinity has a strong lead character! He may not yet be the Demon Lord, but he is a strong contender!
The plot differs from Misfit in that it follows Arata, who causes a breakdown phenomenon that destroys his town. As a result, a beautiful woman appeared to him, offering him the choice of handing over the book that he was, dying, or enrolling in their school. Arata made the correct decision by enrolling, which led him to meet Trinity Seven, an elite group of students with power magic and exceptional abilities.
Arata must use his power to bring back his childhood friend and cousin in order to save her.

The anime focuses on Takuma Sakamoto, a power player who was playing his favourite fantasy game, Cross Reverie. He was feared and challenged by many, but everyone failed. His contented shut-in lie was shattered when he was summoned by two lovely ladies, an Elf and a Pantherian. When our MC was summoned, he appeared as his character, Diablo!
One of the anime’s similarities is that Diablo is a demon lord who is also extremely powerful. He is well aware of his abilities and always fights on his terms. However, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is more of an Isekai, and Diablo, unlike Anos, can lose his cool when he’s with the girls.
But this anime has one feature that The Misfits of the Demon Academy does not. You’ll have to watch the anime to find out! But you already know what I’m talking about. Winks
7.Wiseman’s Grandchild
This anime is similar to The Misfits of the Demon King Academy in that the main character is overpowered and confuses everyone around him with his magical abilities! He may not be a Demon or a Lord, but he is a powerful magician who can easily defeat demons!
Wiseman’s Grandchild tells the story of Shin Wolford, an orphan adopted by an Earlshide Kingdom hero. Shin would grow up to be skilled in magic and combat, but because he was isolated from the outside world, he missed out on common sense and fitting in. That is why we were accepted into the kingdom’s magical academy.
The students around him, like those at The Misfit Demon King Academy, are weak in terms of magic, and he alone possesses superior abilities beyond what those around him can do! That is why Wiseman’s Grandchild is deserving of a spot on the list!
6. Redo Of Healer
Restarting life as an overpowering individual! I believe it has that vibe. I know this anime is much further and darker than The Misfit of Demon Academy, but they both share that feeling of starting over. The story’s polar opposite is that Keyaru went back in time, while Anos awoke in the future.
If you like Revenge, this anime is for you. This is just a sweet story about a boy who became a hero, thinking it was heaven but discovering it was hell. He possessed a powerful ability that he kept hidden until the time came for him to return and redo the world in order to exact his elaborate revenge!
Keyaru is a human, but he is more demonic and terrifying than Anos, the demon king himself.

Despite human attitudes toward demons, a kind demon king? Check!
A hero who fights for justice and is said to have defeated the demon king? Check!

When it comes to similarities to Misfit of the Demon Academy, this anime really hits the mark! The anime tells the story of Satan, the demon lord who is feared by humans because he conquered their land in order to achieve his goal of taking over the content.
However, he was stopped by the Hero Emilia, forcing them to flee with his loyal general. They fall to Tokyo, trapped and struggling for a living, giving birth to the legend of Satan working as a part-timer in a fast-food restaurant!

A POWERFUL being! That will bring their name to the attention of the entire world! Yes, that seems about right! When watching our main character fight, Overlord has that badass factor and that “you can’t beat me even if you try” feeling!

Momonga, also known as Ains, is a formidable opponent. They, like Ains, are enigmatic to those around them, but they frighten those who truly understand what they are capable of!
3. The World’s best Assassin; To Reincarnate in a different World Aristocrat
Consider yourself a skilled assassin; imagine being reincarnated as an assassin with magic. Isn’t that just? This is why I believe the anime is similar to Anos; they are already powerful enough to start a new life.
He is known as the world’s greatest assassin; on his most recent mission, he was betrayed by the organisation with which he worked. However, he awoke and met a goddess who offered him a new life in exchange for one simple task: to prevent the destruction of the world by killing their hero!
This show is fantastic to watch, and I highly recommend it. Anos could be more powerful! But this guy has some smooth assassination skills!
2.The Strongest Sage Of Disqualified Crest
This anime is similar to The Misfit of Demon King Academy in that the MC restarted his life, but the main difference is that Anos sacrificed himself for the sake of the world and was reincarnated. This guy was only interested in collecting crests for the sake of collecting them. Nonetheless, the same overpowered main character attends school to amaze people, and people who have known him in the past recognise him.
The strongest Sage of Disqualified Crest tells the story of Gaius, who has already reached the limit of magic, earning him the title of the world’s strongest mage. However, he is still dissatisfied with his abilities and wishes to obtain the crest mark for close combat.
However, because its crests are unchangeable, Gaius decided to reincarnate in the future in order to achieve his goal. After a thousand years, Gaius was reborn as Mathias. He was able to obtain the desired cress, but he also discovered that magic had weakened in comparison to before.

1. The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody
The title pretty much sums up The Misfits of the Demon King Academy. Even though it isn’t ranked, I had to put these two at the top because they are so similar. But, like The Strongest Sage of Disqualified Crest, he was reborn on purpose for their benefit. Which Anos is morally superior to them.
Nobody follows the story of a powerful being who people suddenly feared, dubbed the demon lord. As a result, he feels isolated from other people. In order to have a friend, this dude decided to reincarnate after thousands of years.
Ard Meteor was reborn as the greatest demon lord. Despite using the phrase “typical nobody” or weakening himself, he is still overpowered because the people around him are weaker. Ard also finds it difficult to make friends due to his lack of social skills.
Although he is not technically a demon lord, he has earned the title. There are also parallels in terms of power shifting over time, which doubles our main characters’ overpowering factor. But, when it comes to The Misfit of the Demon King Academy, I’d say this one comes the closest.
