One of the few anime shows that people dismiss without even giving it a chance is Paranoia Agent. However, it is a brilliant and excellent storyline.

It was the age when Samurai could mechanically enhance their bodies, and eventually a war broke out. However, after the war, Samurai have turned into robbers.
Kanna village, one of the victims, was unable to stop them or hire someone to assist them. As a result, they seek the assistance of a Samurai. But are there still Samurai who would do such a thing?
Samurai 7 was a pleasant surprise for me because I had no expectations when watching it. The story is remarkable and depicts samurai pride.
It was a very entertaining anime with a lot of action scenes. If you enjoy samurai anime, you should watch it.
8. After the Rain
Akira Tachibana was the star of the track team until she was forced to retire due to an injury. Akira, who is depressed, visits a restaurant on a rainy day and meets a 45-year-old man serving coffee.
She joins the company as a part-time employee after falling in love with him. They eventually begin to understand each other well, and Akira decides to tell him how she feels one day. But will he react in the way she expects?
Age gap romance shows may not appear to be your typical romance anime, but After the Rain is unique. The animation is stunning, and the story is compelling.

Kabanari of the Iron Fortress was created by the same person who created Attack on Titan, and you can see the similarities right here. It’s one of the most underappreciated anime shows I’ve seen.
The animation and visuals are stunning, the story is adequate, and the action is insane. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly advise you to do so.
6. Girls’ Last Tour
The story takes place in a desolate landscape, where two young girls named Chito and Yuuri are looking for food, water, and fuel for their motorcycle.
Even though the world they roam in is lonely, they find happiness in small things such as leftover rations, hot baths from a leaky pipe, and so on. Even though there is no civilization, these girls find a reason to live.
If I had to sum up this anime in one word, it would be “bittersweet.” It connects with us by telling us that we should keep living our lives in order to find something we love, even if it seems hopeless.
The animation was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic. But the best part of the anime, in my opinion, is the music, and it is one of the best anime to watch on Amazon Prime.

Mima is a popular idol who decided to leave the group in order to pursue a career as an actress. Unfortunately, she had no idea that a fan’s obsession would change her life.
She is living in a nightmare as a result of constant letter bombs and death threats. Her mental state quickly deteriorates, and she decides to track down the perpetrator. But will it be simple?

The aliens, known as “Moon Dwellers,” attack these lifeforms without mercy. To counter them, each of them has been assigned a role, but Phos is terrible at combat. As a result, it has been tasked with creating an encyclopaedia.
This anime has spectacular animation and does an excellent job with CGI. It has an excellent plot and interesting characters, and I believe this anime is a hidden gem.
It is also a one-of-a-kind anime in every way. Among the many positive aspects are the unique yet eye-catching artwork, intriguing concept, and incredible world-building. It’s one of the best anime I’ve seen on Amazon Prime.
2. Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku
When guys discovered Narumi Momose was an Otaku, they would always dump her. So she’s been hiding it ever since, and now she runs into her childhood friend at her new job.
He discovers her secret, and when she attempts to silence him with a plan, he responds with a counter-proposal: why not date me?
I suppose this anime hits us harder than anyone else because we are aware of the issues that Otakus face. It is a slice-of-life anime that depicts how two Otakus fall in love and how their relationship develops.
The main characters were as if they were meant to be together. It doesn’t stand out in any way, but it does deliver the perfect romance.
1. Grand Blue
Iori Kitahara relocates to a seaside town to attend college and works part-time at a diving shop. His life, however, takes an unexpected turn.
Kitahara discovers a strange yet new meaning of life with seniors who only want to party and dive into the sea. How much fun will his life be from now on?
With its unconventional comedy, Grand Blue was one of the few anime shows that made me choke on my food. It’s fantastic in every way, and the humour is at its peak.
It was a short anime with only 12 episodes, but I never laughed once. If you’re looking for a good comedy anime to watch on Amazon Prime, this is the one.
