The characters in this anime are decent, and the audio is… strange at best, as it’s often not really ambient, which Japanese anime seem to do a much better job of, but the animations are too beautiful, with some scenes looking specifically like they’re from a movie. Overall, it’s a pretty good anime that you should definitely check out.

Just as things appear to be going south for the god, Hiyori Iki, a middle school girl, allegedly saves Yato from a car accident by absorbing the impact for him. She survives, but the incident causes her spirit to become loose, allowing it to leave her body. Hiyori demands that Yato return her to normalcy, but when she learns that he will need to find a new partner, she reluctantly agrees to help him find one. Yato’s fortunes may be changing with Hiyori’s help.
BONUS: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Satoru Mikami, 37, is a typical corporate worker who is content with his mundane life in Tokyo, except for the fact that he has never had a girlfriend. In the midst of a casual conversation with a colleague, he is stabbed on the street by an unknown assailant.
