If you are unfamiliar, Manhwa/Webtoons are essentially just different terms for Korean comics, which have grown in popularity in recent years. And anime studios have finally taken notice, with the super popular power fantasy “Solo Leveling,” which even your mother knows about, and Lookism both getting anime adaptations in 2023.
Asura Scans is a translation website that provides English and Turkish translations of these Korean Manhwas/Webtoons. They are also an established manhwa translator.
We’ll list the Top 10 Manhwa/Webtoons available on Asura Scans in this post!
10. Reformation of the Deadbeat Noble
Airen Parreira is a young man who uses sleep to escape reality. People mocked him and referred to him as a “deadbeat,” but he had no desire to change. Until one day, he dreamed of becoming a swordsman… It was a dream about a talentless man who had spent decades training by swinging his sword incessantly no matter what.
It has a fantastic story, a fantastic main character, and likeable side characters, as well as a fantastic art style. A new chapter was released just two days ago, and it was an absolute banger!
9. Doctor’s Rebirth
When our MC was abroad doing medical volunteer work, he became embroiled in a civil war. While attempting to protect a patient, he was shot and killed by a rebel soldier. When he finally awoke, he realised he had transformed into a child and was in a Murim-like world.
He finds himself in front of a wrecked carriage and a group of strangely dressed people, all of whom are unconscious. He hurriedly administered first aid to everyone in an attempt to save even one person, when he realised he was inside the world of [The Supreme Demon King], a Murim novel he had enjoyed reading.
He discovered that one of the people he saved was the protagonist of this novel, the future Demon King Yeoharyun, after meeting the ‘Three Great Doctors’ rescue team!
In exchange for saving his life, he became a sworn brother of the future Demon King, and Baekrineuison, one of the most knowledgeable people in this world, recognised his potential and accepted him as his disciple. This is his journey to becoming Gangho’s greatest physician!
I’ve only read the first 4-5 chapters of this manhwa, but I’m enjoying it so far. It is ranked 10 on Asura Scans in terms of popularity.
If you like Murim manhwa but want to try something new, I highly recommend Doctor’s Rebirth.
8. The Lord’s Coins Aren’t Decreasing
The Dimensional Trading Center, the coin market that transcends dimensions, has been turned upside down by a newcomer! A trader’s worst nightmare is Erun Steelguard. Is actually living his second life after losing his entire fortune to dimensional trading and dying in a tragic accident.
To be honest, I’m not sure what this one is about. I haven’t read it yet, but the reviews are fantastic, and it’s currently ranked sixth on Asura Scans in terms of popularity.
7. Solo Max-Level Newbie
Only Jinhyuk, a gaming Nutuber, saw the game’s ending [Tower of Trials]. When the game’s popularity fell, he struggled to make a living as a gaming Nutuber.
He was about to give up because he had already seen the game’s conclusion. But on that fateful day, [Tower of Trials] became a reality, and Jinhyuk, who knew everything in the game, took over faster than anyone!
The story’s premise sounds very similar to Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, but trust me when I say it’s worth a shot, just like everything else on this list. Furthermore, Solo-Max Level Newbie is currently trending on Asura Scans.
6. Reaper of the Drifting Moon
From the author of [Legend Of The Northern Blade.]
Manhwa Reaper of the Drifting Moon by Murim. It has an amazing main character, amazing art, an amazing plot, and amazing side characters. I won’t say much about it except that it’s fantastic and you should read it.
5. Return of the Disaster-Class Hero
Humans call them “calamities” because they are unknown, destructive creatures that appeared out of nowhere on Earth. To combat these disasters, the zodiac gods awoke 12 humans known as saints. Geon Lee, the unnamed but greatest hero of all time, awoke. His friends betrayed and abandoned him, but he’s back and stronger than ever, ready to teach his fellow “saints” a lesson they won’t soon forget.
Return of the Disaster-Class Hero has fantastic artwork, an amazing main character, amazing fight scenes, and amazing/lovable side characters. One of the best stories I’ve ever read.
4. Player Who Can’t Level Up
Kim Gigyu began playing when he was 18 years old. He believed he was on the right path in life, climbing ‘the tower’ and closing ‘the gates’… He remained at level 1 even after completing the tutorial. While still at level 1, he killed a goblin every day. After 5 years, he was still at level 1. Nobody expected a player who couldn’t advance past level 1.
But… everything changes when he ends up going through and passing the trial on the 5th floor by chance.
Player Who Can’t Level Up has an excellent main character, an engaging story, stunning artwork, and intriguing side characters. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in power fantasies.
3. Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God (Doom Breaker)
A time travel action fantasy starring the best of humanity. “Even if the vile gods bestowed this opportunity upon me,” I say, “an opportunity is an opportunity, and I’ll kill them because they want to die.” Zephyr is humanity’s last survivor. The gods granted him the ability to travel back in time 10 years after defeating the demons. The gods, who saw humans as mere spectators, stole everything from humans, as did the demons. I’m going to rip them apart this time.
This manhwa is “adrenaline-filled power fantasy with absolutely orgasmic art,” in my opinion.
The premise has been used before, but that doesn’t make it any less compelling to read. The art in this manhwa is absolutely stunning. And, in my opinion, having amazing art alone makes any manhwa worth reading.
2. Damn Reincarnation
Hamel was a warrior who joined his colleagues on a mission to exterminate the Demons. Unfortunately, he died just as the battle with the most powerful Demon Kings was about to begin. He was, however, reborn as a descendant of Vermouth, his fellow warrior and the mightiest hero.
As a reincarnation of unknown origin, he awakens in a future where humans and demons coexist. Everything appears to be suspicious in this strange new world. In this new world, Hamel’s journey as Eugene Lionheart continues.
This recently released manhwa has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. The art is stunning, the story is cliche but enjoyable, and the characters are unforgettable. I strongly advise you to read it.
1. Return of the Mount Hua Sect
Chun Ma, the world’s destroyer and destabilizer, was defeated by Chung Myung, the 13th Disciple of the Mount Hua Sect, Plum Blossom Sword Saint, and one of the three Great Swordsmen. He breathes his last breath on the summit of the Heavenly Demon Sect’s headquarters mountain after the battle. After 100 years, he is reborn in the body of a child. … … What? Is the Mount Hua Sect in trouble? What kind of nonsense is that?
This is one of the best action and Murim-themed Manhwa I’ve read, aside from Legend of the Northern Blade and Nano Machine.
The plot is a standard “overpowered character dies and is reincarnated as a child” story, but it is executed flawlessly. Our hero aspires to resurrect his old sect and make it the best in the world. A straightforward goal for the story to strive for. The plot is predictable, but it does surprise you from time to time.
The artwork is fantastic, and the characters are well-written. Overall, it’s a fantastic manhwa that I highly recommend.
