Manga has been around for decades, and some are still going strong. One Piece, Berserk (which unfortunately will no longer be continued), and many other great examples are available.
So, what are some of the best-selling manga ever? We will take you on a journey in this article to present you with this fantastic list. So, let’s get this party started.
List of Best Selling Manga!
13. Slam Dunk (120 Million+)

Sakuragi Hanamichi is a delinquent who has had a string of bad luck with girls, having been rejected fifty times. However, Akagi is the only girl who is not scared of him and introduces him to the basketball team.
He improves his game as a result of his athleticism and natural talent. He resolves himself, hoping Akagi will be his girl of dreams and fulfil the captain’s dream of winning the national championship.
Slam Dunk is my favourite sports manga and, in my opinion, one of the best I’ve ever read. There’s not much room for cliche romance or humour, but everything is well-balanced.
If you like sports manga and haven’t read this one yet, consider yourself extremely unlucky. It is one of the most popular manga series of all time.
12. Bleach (120 Million+)

Ichigo Kurosaki, an ordinary high school boy, had no trouble seeing spirits since he was a child, until a shinigami named Kuchiki Rukia entered his life. She is injured while attempting to destroy a hollow.
Ichigo has no choice but to borrow her powers and become a full-fledged shinigami. The spirit world isn’t going to leave him alone from now on, and no one knows what’s in store for him.
The manga is the only reason I enjoy Bleach. I couldn’t get into the anime for some reason, so I went back to the manga and finished the story.
It may appear slow at first, but give it some time to develop the characters and get you into the actual storyline, and it will be one of the best stories you’ve ever read.
11. Osihinbo (135 Million+)

To commemorate its 100th anniversary, Tozai newspaper plans to publish the “Ultimate Menu,” which describes the meal and drink for the Japanese people. However, Shirou Yamaoka was chosen for the challenge.
He’s a slacker with a low self-esteem. Why, of all people, did they choose him? This is due to Shirou’s extensive knowledge of food and his refined palate.
Osishinbo is a fantastic culinary slice-of-life manga that provides hours of entertainment. If you start reading this, you’ll most likely experiment with new ingredients at home and develop an interest in cooking.
The story is fairly ordinary, focusing on food, but it is the art, situations, and explanations of everything related to food that make it truly exceptional and one of the best-selling manga of all time.
10. Crayon Shin-chan (148 Million+)

Shinnosuke Nohara, a five-year-old boy, is a jerk. He has a penchant for dirty and inappropriate remarks. As a result, he is constantly causing problems for his mother by blackmailing her for money.
Nothing makes him happier than teasing girls on the playground or dropping his underwear. Witness Shin-day-to-day chan’s adventures.
Shin-chan is another childhood favourite of ours, and the manga is well worth reading. I haven’t read it thoroughly, but what I have read so far has been impressive.
The humour was spot on, and even though some situations became repetitive, they were still hilarious. It is a must-read manga for anyone who enjoys humorous manga.
9. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (150 Million+)

Tanjiro, a good-hearted man, works hard to support his family by selling charcoal in the village. When he returns home, he finds his family slaughtered by a demon, and his little sister Nezuko transforms into a demon.
He travels across Japan as an official member of the Demon Slayer Corps, determined to turn her back into a human. Can he accomplish what he sets out to do?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a fantastic story that everyone who enjoys reading should read. It will almost certainly climb the list of best-selling manga in a few years.
The manga is action-packed and full of surprises. If you haven’t read it yet, you should either do so now or try to watch the anime (which is spectacular in every way).
8. KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops (156.5 Million+)

Ryoutsu is an underpaid cop who is always looking for ways to make money. He is always devising devious schemes to make a quick buck.
But, because his plans are ridiculous, they always go wrong, putting him in hot water with his boss. In this hilarious manga, you can follow his life adventures.
This manga depicts every aspect of traditional and modern Japanese life. If you enjoy both Japanese and humour, then this manga is for you.
There are many characters, but the story is focused on three main characters. So it doesn’t get too repetitive, and it’s an excellent manga to read.
7. Doraemon (170 Million+)

Nobita is a lazy and dumb boy, and because of his lack of motivation, his future generation is cursed with poverty for all time. However, his grandson arrives from the distant future to present him with Doraemon.
Doraemon is a mechanical cat with a fourth-dimensional pocket full of gadgets, but Nobita does not make good use of them. Will he save his future generation or remain a loser for the rest of his life?
We had watched far too much Doraemon anime as children. It was enjoyable, entertaining, and a great way to pass the time. If you don’t have time to watch anime, reading manga is a great alternative.
It has been on the best-selling manga list for decades and continues to be popular. Check it out if you haven’t already.
6. Black Jack (176 Million+)

Black Jack is a surgeon with god-like abilities, but he has a dark past. He solves impossible medical cases with his little assistant Pinoko, but only for a high price.
He is well-known throughout the world, particularly among medical professionals. But even he can be taken aback by the medical mysteries that nature bestows on him.
Black Jack depicts life through the lens of his own philosophy. This manga is for those who enjoy thoughtful ideas presented in the most unusual way possible.
The manga began in 1973 and has since delivered fantastic content to the audience. If you haven’t read this one yet, you should do so soon.
5. Detective Conan (230 Million +)

Shinichi Kudo, like his favourite hero, Sherlock Holmes, has become a detective after years of wishing. He was apprehended while investigating a specific case and forced to try an experimental drug.
Later, as a seven-year-old boy, his body shrinks and he changes his name to Conan Edogawa to cope with his new appearance. Will he be able to track down the perpetrators?
Detective Conan, also known as Case Closed, is a popular anime/manga series. The anime has a lot of filler, but the manga is fantastic. It starts slowly with a few filler cases, but the story progresses very well.
If you like murder mysteries, you should read Detective Conan manga, which is one of the best-selling manga series for a reason.
4. Naruto (250 Million+)

When a nine-tailed fox attacked the hidden leaf village, the Hokage gave his life by enclosing it in the body of his newborn child. Naruto was despised by everyone after that.
He is adamant about proving himself to the villagers by becoming the Hokage. But his journey will not be easy, as he will face far too many obstacles. Will he succeed in his mission?
If Naruto hadn’t been on the list until now, I would have completely abandoned this article. This is one of my favourite stories, and whether it’s in manga or anime doesn’t change my feelings.
It is one of the best-selling manga series due to its creative and innovative fights, amazing storyline, and memorable characters.
3. Dragon Ball (260 Million +)

Goku is a naive monkey-tailed boy on a quest to find the dragon balls. The person who assembles these dragon balls receives one wish.
Goku meets both friends and foes on his journey through the new world. Can he locate the dragon balls, and is that the end of the story?
I’ve been a huge fan of the Dragon Ball anime since I was a kid, and I recently read the manga. It was flawless, and it’s no surprise that it’s the third best-selling manga.
It doesn’t feel like your typical manga; instead, it goes with the flow and provides plenty of entertainment.
2. Golgo 13 (300 Million +)

For four decades, Golgo 13 has been the world’s greatest assassin, and someone is always looking for him. Whenever he is hired, it will be to settle a personal score or to change the course of history.
No one knows his name or country, but his legend is well known. G13 never fails at his job and never meets with the clients again unless they betray him.
Golgo 13 is currently the second best-selling manga, trailing only One Piece. The story begins slowly, as is typical of long-running ones, but it eventually draws you in.
It’s a lot of fun, and most modern comedies make reference to it in some way. If you haven’t read it yet, you might want to reconsider what you’ve been missing.
1. One Piece (490 Million+)

Monkey D. Luffy has left his hometown to become a pirate and find the “One Piece” treasure left by the pirate king Gol D. Roger.
However, his journey is fraught with perilous encounters with marines, other pirate crews, and various types of people. Can he ever realise his dream of finding One Piece?
One Piece is still the best-selling manga in the world. Oda, the manga creator, has created an incredible world full of mysteries, most of which are still unknown.
The plot, characters, artwork, and literally everything about it makes it so deserving. So, if you haven’t already read this legendary tale, now is the time. It is also the most popular shounen manga.
