As foreigners who appreciate Japanese culture, we frequently appreciate the delicacies of the country that gave birth to anime. Personally, I’ve always wanted to try Japanese foods, particularly those made in Japan with Japanese ingredients.
When I discovered TokyoTreat Box, it heightened my desire to sample all of the delectable-looking snacks. So, what exactly is TokyoTreat Box, what kinds of snacks it delivers, and how delicious they are? Let’s take a closer look at it in the TokyoTreat Box review.
TokyoTreat Box Review!
Let’s taste the individual items first and get you on board with taste and quality before giving an overall opinion.
Morning Menu Banana Castella

I can smell the sweet aroma immediately after ripping the packet’s seal. However, it does not compare to the sensation of touching the fluffy snack, and the taste is also quite good.
With a banana and a little sugar mixture, it tastes like a regular cake but feels a little different. The good news is that the sweet bread and banana layers are distinct, and you can taste them separately on your tongue.
Chupa Chups Strawberry Cream Soda

Although strawberry is a flavour I enjoy, the first sip of this Soda felt off. I’m not a big fan of sodas to begin with; so, from my perspective, it’s tasty but tastes a little like beer.
It’s not your typical drink, but on a hot summer day or on a sunny beach, it definitely fits the mood.
Kakinotane

Kakinotane is a one-of-a-kind snack that combines several flavours into one. It starts out sweet, then crunches and adds a little spice to the tongue, surprising the taste buds.
Its flavour is enhanced by a combination of dairy products, and it is an overall good snack. You could eat it as a light evening snack if you don’t want to eat anything heavy, or you could eat it as a snack while drinking something cool.
Umaibo Mentai

Umaibo Mentai is the ideal snack for reminiscing about your childhood, as you can recall eating similar ones. It has a slight sweetness mixed in with a moderate amount of spice. Although it doesn’t compare to the snacks I’ve previously eaten, it’s not bad.
Banana Man Marshmallow

This little sticky guy conceals a lot more than meets the eye. It is similar to candy, but he is difficult to remove from the mouth.
The flavour is quite sweet and takes some time to swallow, but I recommend that you savour it before devouring it.
Jagatteru

It’s not like we’ve never had potato chips or french fries, but these are different. While not as spicy as french fries, the potato flavour is quite rich. Whether you’re eating a burger or pizza, Jagatteru would make an excellent side dish.
Pure Potato Truffle & Rock Salt Chips

These, like Jagatteru, have a strong potato flavour and just the right amount of salt to round out the flavour. It’s not an exaggeration to say that these are the best and tastiest chips I’ve ever had.
The chips are crispy and slightly crunchy, making them ideal for a quick snack while walking or watching the sunset on a beach.
Mashuro Marshmallow

This little cute guy is not to be confused with a small pillow. Although it is not as tasty as it appears, every ounce of it has the texture of sweetness. It’s not the best fluffy candy, but your kids will love it.
Yaki Edamane Cracker

I’ve never tried crackers before, let alone Japanese crackers. These Yaki Edamane Crackers, on the other hand, remind me of the salty biscuits I used to eat as a kid.
Although its flavour is a little mixed, with a slight hint of dairy products, it can be considered a quick meal.
Watermelon Seed Ramune Candy

These little bean-like pills, as the name implies, are candies with an amazing watermelon flavour. The flavour is pleasant, and you can eat them whenever you want.
Summer Surprise KitKat

I’ve never been a big chocolate fan, but this Kit Kat felt different. The chocolate flavour is matcha latte, and it is absolutely delicious.
The crunchy layer is similar to regular chocolates, but the overall flavour is fantastic. I could eat a hundred of them, but I only have about ten in the box.
Sakusaku Panda Salted Vanilla & Choco Cookies

I’ve never had salted biscuits with whipped cream on the side before. Despite the fact that I grew up eating a lot of cream biscuits, it doesn’t take much effort to notice the difference. A great way to improve the taste of the biscuit, and the taste was quite good.
Sour Paper Candy Cola

I’ve never had a combination of sweet and sour candies, let alone one with cola flavour. It’s similar to eating paper, but the taste reaches the mouth in a matter of seconds, and you need time to adjust.
It wasn’t to my taste, but it’s a unique flavour, and trying something new every now and then isn’t a bad thing.
Mini Milk Chocolate Balls

If you’re not hungry but still want something to satisfy your taste buds, these Mini Milk Chocolate Balls are ideal. They have a mild flavour, but you can buy them for children, who will enjoy them.
Chilled Tanuki Soba

I’ve saved this one for last because it only takes a few minutes to prepare. As the name implies, these aren’t your typical noodles, but rather something a little different.
It felt very different from regular food to me as an Indian. Adding both sauce and toppings did a good job of improving the flavour. Overall, this is a good Soba for a quick meal.
