Life isn’t always fair because it brings more difficulties than joy. People obviously lose hope at some point. Some people become sick of their lives, some give up, and some are simply afraid to live.
But is it really worth risking your life for such insignificant (or insignificant) problems? Everyone goes through difficult times in their lives, but fighting the situation is preferable to giving up.
The feeling we get when we achieve our goal after overcoming numerous obstacles or solving a haunting problem is sweeter than the feeling of insufferability you’ve experienced thus far.
Suicide is Not an Option!
You Have Only One Life, Live It!
“Life is like a tube of toothpaste. When you’ve used all the toothpaste down to the last squeeze, that’s when you’ve really lived. Live with all your might, and struggle as long as you have life.” – Mion Sonozaki (Higurashi)
Everyone only has one life, so why not make the most of it? There are many things that can bring you joy, such as anime. When you’re lonely, it keeps you company; when you’re hurt, it helps you heal a part of yourself.
The dark truth about anime is that animators are frequently underpaid, and they work their tails off to provide quality anime to viewers, who in turn influence a large number of people.
No Problem is Permanent!
Anime studios frequently fail, but they never give up because they know how rewarding it can be at times. So, no problem is permanent, and there is always a way out.
“You can die at any time, but living requires true courage,” Rurouni Kenshin’s Kenshin Himura said. Living a life requires courage, but it’s okay if you don’t have it. You’ll find it eventually.
Things Will Get Better!
“If your life can change once, it can change twice.” This was stated by Sanae from the Clannad anime. If your life has been turned upside down due to problems, it can also be turned around.
You simply have to wait for the right moment to solve every problem. Of course, it’s never easy, but it’s certainly preferable to giving up entirely.
Don’t Runaway from Problems, Fight Them!
“If nobody cares to accept you and wants you in this world, accept yourself, and you will see that you don’t need them and their selfish ideas.” -Alibaba (Magi)
Why should you care about someone who rejects you? Even if no one cares, you will find a single person among the world’s 7 billion inhabitants. In the worst-case scenario, you have yourself and the anime to help you overcome your depression. So fleeing is never an option.
You Always Have a Way, Even if Everything’s Lost!
“You can’t always hold on to the things that are important. By letting them go, we gain something else.” -Kunio Yaobi (Tamako Market)
So what if you’ve lost everything? Can you not start over? If you can bear this pain, the reward will be well worth it. I can’t promise you’ll succeed, but maybe you’ll find a reason to live.
Don’t Assume You’ll Fail!
“Even if you’ve only got a 1% chance of winning, but you convince yourself you’re gonna lose, that 1% becomes 0%.” – Lina Inverse (Anime: Slayers)
“We can’t afford to waste time worrying about what-ifs.” Bleach’s protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki, has said the right thing. Some people decide they can’t do it before even attempting it.
How did you find out? Will you not get something if you believe in yourself and put in enough effort? So, even if your goal is as big as a mountain, never assume you’ll fail.
Don’t Abandon the Loved Ones!
“What you can’t accomplish alone, becomes doable when you’re with someone else.” – Taichi Yaegeshi (Kokoro Connect).
You are not always alone because you have at least one person with whom you can share some things. Instead of suffering, why not try to solve it together? More importantly, it’s not like you’re going to end the suffering.
You’re being too selfish here because your loved ones will suffer for eternity as a result of losing such a wonderful person as you. So, live life to the fullest and never give up hope.
I understand that the statements above may not make sense to those who are suffering right now. But if you look at them from a different angle, you’ll realise they’re completely true.
You have yourself even if you have nothing to hold. I don’t think killing yourself would solve the problem. So, don’t make rash decisions and never try anything like this in your life.
