Mob Psycho 100 is the most recent addition to my list of favourites, but it deserves a higher ranking. Mob Psycho 100 was created by ONE, the same person who wrote and drew the well-known One-Punch Man.
Mob Psycho, while structurally similar to One Punch Man, uses its setting and cast of characters to convey a very different message.
Mob Psycho 100 is a fantastic anime that is both action-packed and entertaining. It may take a few episodes to get used to the new animation style. It is, however, a must-see for all anime fans. This is one of the anime series with overpowered protagonists and epic fighting scenes. Let’s find out more in our Mob Psycho 100 anime review.
Mob Psycho 100 Anime Review!
Engaging Storyline With No Complicated Involvements!

The plot of Mob Psycho 100 is simple, but it delves into a wide range of complex human emotions. It follows an emotionless middle school student named Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a. Mob), who also happens to be an Esper with psychic abilities.
He is, however, powerful; he regards his abilities as a curse rather than a blessing and thus avoids using them. His uncanny good fortune puts him in perilous situations, forcing him to use them and disrupt his desired way of life.
The plot is a simple but effective formula for keeping the audience interested and entertained.
Characters Carry the Show!

My favourite aspect of this anime is the characters. I’d go over the ones I like best because going over them all would bore you.
Mob, the main character, is fascinating to watch. His straightforward outlook on life leads him to believe that his psychic abilities are pointless, and he has no desire to use them to harm others.
Despite his enormous power, Mob begins emotionally weak and delicate, giving him plenty of room to grow.
Without a doubt, Arataka Reigen is one of my favourite personality types. His manipulation abilities were visible to those watching, but not to those around him. He’s so stupid he’s clever, falling for his lies and delusions all the time. Even when he makes mistakes, it is always for the best.
Finally, I’d like to speak about Teruki Hanazawa. This snobbish brat. Tsk becomes arrogant because he is unaware of his true strength. He uses his abilities for financial and social gain. As we all know, that never works.
Then he met Mob, or, more precisely, the feral warrior within him. He was shown power that he was unaware of but needed to be aware of. He appeared to have completely changed after his fight with Mob. His new wig pays homage to his former self. I admire someone who can take his flak and learn from it.
Engrossing Fights and Lots of Action

What is an Esper story without some psychic conflict? The fighting animations in this series are fantastic. The best parts of Mob Psycho 100’s animation are its intense and engaging fight scenes (as well as some “exorcisms” performed by Reigen), particularly those between Esper.
One of my favourite fights was the one between Mob and Teru, when Mob lost consciousness and entered the “????% mode” (not going to give you spoilers). The fight that erupted as a result of the massive destruction produced breathtaking animation.
The fighting scenes are on par with those seen in Dragon Ball Z and other high-quality anime. As well as a lot of wreckage in the fight scenes, as the characters demolish buildings and other objects with ease.
Furthermore, each psychic character in this series has a unique power that sets them apart from one another. Pyrokinesis, Geokinesis, Hydrokinesis, and other forms of Telekinesis are used by many characters. Overall, this anime is an excellent fit for the Shnen anime genre.
It’s Quite Humorous

This anime has a good mix of funny moments aside from the fighting scenes. It’s fun to watch an overpowered character struggle with tasks that any ordinary person can do.
Mob Psycho 100 is based on a series written by ONE, the author of One Punch Man, and contains many hilarious scenes. The recurring themes, such as the idea that the different schools in Seasoning City are named after different condiments, provide the humour.
The main focus of the comedy scenes is on the character Arataka Reigen. His moves are not only hilarious, but he also uses them to control the Mob and keep him in check.
The fact that he acts tough in front of demons he fears in order to appear tough in Mob’s eyes is amusing and hilarious. The character’s expression is also important in the anime’s comedic moments.
New Animation Style

Many animation studios and manga artists try to differentiate themselves by employing a unique style of animation or drawing. Because of the lack of intricate detailing, gradients, and shadings at the start of the anime, it may appear to have low-quality animation.
The proportions of the eyes, nose, and the rest of the face may be off as well. Many anime fans, however, enjoyed this animation, especially the fight scenes, because this anime has some of the most vivid and colourful visual fights. If you want a break from the usual type of animation, this is an excellent choice.
There Is Much More to It Than It Appears
People watch anime for a variety of reasons; some watch it for fun, while others hope to learn something from the shows they watch.
Mob Psycho 100 is an anime that manages to raise specific human issues while also conveying a message to viewers. Character interactions create poignant moments that can elicit serious self-reflection.
The most recurring theme in Mob Psycho 100 is that some people take pleasure in elevating themselves above others and convincing themselves that they are superior to them.
Mob tries to portray himself as the polar opposite of every other character; he does not feel special because he is an Esper, and he tries to live a life that relies on his abilities as little as possible because doing so will make him just like everyone else.
THE REVIEW
Mob Psycho 100
Please start Mob Psycho 100 if you haven’t already. Season one is a must-watch for any anime fan. This is a fantastic story with fantastic characters and genuine heartwarming moments. On top of that, it’s beautifully animated. It’s my favourite anime, so watch it. Mob Psycho 100’s bizarre aesthetics and even stranger cast make it an excellent addition to the collection of any anime fan. However, its message of constantly improving oneself and not relying on overspecialization, which is especially relevant in today’s times, elevates it above the competition even further.
