If you’re looking for some new web novels to read, we’ve got you covered!
Korean literature in translation has provided us with some true gems in recent years. Web novels and manhwas are included in this case. Korean Web Novels are a personal favourite of mine. Japanese web novels aren’t bad either, but there’s something about the Korean ones that sets them apart. And because I’m always looking for new Web Novels to read, I’ve compiled a list of the Best New Ongoing Korean Web Novels that you should definitely check out! (All of them have good translations, so don’t worry about that.)
7. I Was Possessed By An Unknown Manga
“Scramble Love” was a popular Japanese love comedy manga that sold over 10 million copies. A manga I’d never seen before possessed me. Or, more precisely, I became a non-important sidekick.
The plot is cringe-worthy, as one would expect from a comedy. The plot is excellent but stupid, and the romance is both romantic and boring. Despite its poor jokes, it’s an interesting and entertaining film. If you’re a fan of the Jojo series, you’ll recognise the odd situations in each scene, lol.
6. Why Did I Have To Enroll
When Ban Yu-won was a child and learned about the fictional building known as the Tower of Babel in the Bible, his revered grandfather told him that it was built by their ancestors. “The Tower of Babel was completed without collapse, and people are misinformed.” That’s exactly what he said.
He denied it, claiming that it was absurd, but… He receives an invitation to a prestigious interdimensional university… in a status bar…
5. Pseudo Resident’s Illegal Stay In Another World
“Where the f*ck am I?” One day, he suddenly fell into a world of barbarism and superstition. “F*ck, I ain’t a savage!”
It’s an isekai story, but the main character isn’t overpowered right away. The main character is endearing, and the character development is excellent. It is, indeed, a harem.
The MC begins as a s*ave in another universe where, to put it mildly, his life was abysmal. He was unable to feed himself. Previously, he had been dragged into another realm by a random hot girl he met on the street. There will be R-18 sequences in the novel, but it will take some time, so be patient.
4. Love Letter From The Future
Ian Percus is the second son of a rural Viscountcy. He received a love letter from the future one day. ‘The world will perish if we do not protect the future.’ Someone scribbled an ominous warning…
This novel tells the story of our main character, Ian Percus. Ian Percus, a country writer, is the second son of the Percus family. His life is turned upside down one day when he awakens from a strange dream and receives a love letter… from the future. A world destined to end, a future filled with only pain and regret.
He receives letters from his lovers in the future. A future that is in jeopardy. Based on the hints in those letters, he sets out to save the world.
3. How To Survive At The Academy
I wound up transmigrating as a third-rate extra in a game I enjoy, but the worst part is that this character has already fallen and been disowned. I don’t have any goals. I simply want to graduate, but the world will not allow it.
This is a fantastic novel in terms of plot. The central plot is nothing new. At this point, it’s like scone; it’s very common, some like it, some don’t, but what stands out is the author’s brilliantly planned turn of events, exemplifying the butterfly effect.
Our main character, Ed, who is forced into this gaming world for unknown reasons, tries to stick to the original plot, but every move he makes leads to other unexpected outcomes in a convincing way. Because of those unexpected events, which, despite going against Ed’s expectations, are highly plausible, the universe feels incredibly organic.
Along with the well-constructed plot, the comedy adds cream and beautiful strawberry jam to the scone.
2. Omniscient First-Person’s Viewpoint
I, a mere con artist, was wrongfully imprisoned in Tantalus, the Abyssal Prison intended for the most heinous criminals, where I met a regressor. But when I used my ability to read her mind, I discovered that I would die in a year… and that the world would end in ten years… GG life spoilers
The novel’s protagonist has mind-reading abilities and can tell what the other person is thinking. The MC’s name isn’t revealed until about 100 chapters in, but his characteristics are crystal clear, so you can picture him clearly. The novel’s unique feature is that you see the dystopian world through the eyes of the main character. As a result, the title Omniscient First-Viewpoint Person’s was coined.
The novel Omniscient First Person View is filled with wisdom. Reviewers believe the author is a Regressor because he has so many insights into so many different fields while only being an undergrad student. There is a harem tag, but the romance is subtle and, at best, a sub-genre. As it becomes more focused on friendship and how they can avoid a tragic future. The main Protagonist finished fourth in the MC pole of the year, behind Frey Raon Starlight and Ferzen Von Schweig, and his ability to read minds is the novel’s true charm.
1. The Main Heroines Are Trying To Kill Me
I held back my tears and destroyed the world to save the hopeless Dark Fantasy World, then killed the Demon King and returned.
Now I’m attempting to save the world with the “System” I obtained as a “Regressor’s Privilege”… The Main Heroines, on the other hand, have reawakened their own memories of the previous timeline.
Frey Raon Starlight is the novel’s main character. This protagonist is a direct descendant of the First Hero, a ‘deceased’ (Hardcore gamer) who fell into a game called [Dark Tale Fantasy] 1000 years ago in the world the MC lives in.
According to the flow of the original game he knew about, the First Hero saved the world, but [Dark Tale Fantasy] had a sequel. A game in which you must stop the Demon King’s heir from annihilating the world 1000 years later. This game has been dubbed ‘Harder than Part 1’, ‘Dog sh*t Game,’ and ‘Intentionally designed by the developers to torture the gamers.’
The MC is the protagonist of the sequel, and in order to achieve a truly happy ending, he will have to follow the strategy guide left by the First Hero.
The hidden path is the [Path of False Evil], with the following requirements for entry:
- Commit evil deeds under duress. 2. Lie to the Heroines in order to destroy the world. 3. Then, betray the Demon King in order to regress and obtain the [False Evil System].
However, due to some unexpected factors, the five main heroines have also gained memories of the previous timeline.
