The Japanese premiere date for the Futoku no Guild anime adaptation has been set for October 5th. A trailer and key visual were also released.
The trailer includes a preview of the opening song, “Never the Fever!! “, as performed by Sayaka Sasaki and the rest of the supporting cast.
Futoku no Guild is based on Taichi Kawazoe’s “hunting erotic comedy” manga, which began in 2017 and will conclude with the 10th tankoubon volume on September 12, 2022. The manga is serialised in Monthly Shonen Gangan and distributed by Gangan Comics.
Kikuru, a young and highly skilled hunter who has spent the majority of his life training, is central to the plot. He now wishes to reclaim his youth by leaving his job, but he must first train a successor. Unfortunately, he is constantly surrounded by new guild members who put him in awkward situations during quests.
The director is Takuya Asaoka (Redo of Healer), the series composer is Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Dropkick on My Devil!!!! X), the character designer is Hiraku Kaneko (Valkyrie Drive -Mermaid- director and character designer), and the music composer is Ryou Shirasawa from Noisycroak. TNK is the name of the animation production company.
Art director Satoru Hirayanagi (Fate Grand Order Final Singularity – Grand Temple of Time Solomon co-art director), colour designer Aiko Matsuyama (The Quintessential Quintuplets movie), and photography director Takuya Ogata are also on the team (Kandagawa Jet Girls co-photography director).
