When watching a romance anime, there are many criteria set by various people to determine its worth. Because of this, this anime generates a lot of heated debate. People either adore or despise Maid-Sama! Or they despise it.
Maid-Sama!, one of J.C. Staff’s best works, has gotten a lot of attention in recent years for its unique characters and comedic timing. This anime contains many adorable moments that will melt your heart.
It was interesting to see characters who work hard and achieve their goals to the point where everyone recognises their strength. The main plot line of the anime is the love story of the main character. More information can be found in our maid sama anime review.

Synopsis:
Misaki Ayuzawa has had a challenging life. She is a determined young lady. She wishes to improve the conditions at her school for the sake of the students. Her school, Seika High, recently transitioned from an all-boys to a co-ed institution. The school is well-known for its rowdy students. As a result of her hard work, Misaki is elected President of her school.
Misaki is regarded as a male hater by the majority of the school’s male students. Misaki has a secret that she hopes no one discovers. Takumi Usui is Seika High’s most popular student. He discovers Misaki’s secret of working as a part-time maid in a maid café. Will Usui be able to keep her secret? Will he threaten her with the secret?
Peculiar Characterization

Takumi Usui and Misaki, the main characters in the show, stand out as characters with exceptional strength and intelligence. Their abilities cause the other characters to look up to or envy them. They are likeable characters, but they are overly stereotypical.
The way the characters live their lives, such as Misaki’s mother and sister, adds humour to the anime. The café characters add to the comedy of the anime.
Exquisite Music
People have been standing up and dancing to the various songs in the show sung by Kana Ueda and the OST sung by Saaya Mizuno. Wataru Maeguchi is the anime’s most important composer.
The music in this anime is fun and exciting. “My Secret” is the top song that gets stuck in your head for some time.
Decent Animation

J.C. Staff’s animation is appropriate for 2010, but it does not compete with current graphics or animation. Some might even argue that there were better animations in 2010.
More details in the animation could have improved the background. Usui’s end credit scene had better animation in my opinion.
A Few More Thoughts!
This anime is hilarious throughout and does not disappoint in any episode. There have been a few awkward scenes, such as Usui tease Misaki by picking up her skirt, him kissing the Vice President of the Student Council, and so on.
The show attempted to disprove the notion that “feminism” and “masculinity” are linked to gender. It is tainted by the fact that Usui is superior to Misaki.
While the anime contains some disturbing content when compared to real life, it can still be enjoyed because of the adorable romance.
Many fans dislike the fact that a love triangle is incorporated into the show. However, it appears to work for the anime. I would have given the show a 10/10 if not for these problematic scenes and the animation.
THE REVIEW
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!
The entire review should be easier to understand in a few sentences- the anime is very heartwarming with its comedy timing and romance. Everyone dislikes the characters’ stereotypical lives. While it cannot be executed in real life, it is a fun watch. The plot of the story is driven by Usui’s love for Misaki. It’s a fanciful anime. As a result, it is the ideal anime to watch if you want to watch an unrealistic Rom-com.
