Undead Unluck is getting its very own anime!
Yoshifumi Tozuka’s Undead Unluck manga will be adapted into a TV anime in 2023, according to the 39th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The anime is also said to be produced by David Studios.
Tozuka’s celebratory illustration and a teaser visual were also revealed in the magazine.

The Shueisha-published manga began in 2020, and the 13th tankoubon volume will be released on September 2, 2022. It’s serialised in Weekly Shonen Jump and published by Jump Comics.
Undead Unluck is described as follows by Viz Media:
Fuuko craves a passionate romance akin to the one in her favourite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability prevents her from doing so. But, just as Fuuko is about to hit rock bottom, Andy literally sweeps her off her feet! Now she’s become Andy’s unwilling test subject as he tries to devise a way to cause a stroke of Unluck large enough to kill him permanently. However, when the pair discovers that a secret organisation is after them, Andy’s burial plans are put on hold.
